Job Description

Now is your opportunity to be part of the Pillow Talk Fabric, by joining us in this highly exciting Area Manager role overseeing our Victorian West stores.

As an Area Manager at Pillow Talk, you’ll ensure your store portfolio fulfils its sales potential through inspiring operational excellence, clever product placement, and a customer-centric culture. You’ll coach your leadership team to confidently navigate operational and people challenges, empowering them to take charge, grow, and embrace change. You’ll set and achieve performance objectives, evaluate and optimise each store’s performance, and develop the leadership capability and commercial aptitude of your store teams. Notably, this role is part of our Senior Operations Management Team, where you will contribute and be supported through a shared focus and passion for our people and operational excellence.

A bit about you…

You’ll be deeply connected to your patch ideally based near Waurn Ponds or Melton, with one of these as your home store. This role keeps you close to the action, immersed in your teams and leading from within the store environment. While you’ll use the store office as a base when you’re not on the road, this is far from a desk job. It’s hands-on, people-first, and at the heart of our store operations.

  • Experience in a multi-site management role within a customer-centric retail environment
  • A demonstrated love of retail, with a focus on customer experience through team engagement
  • Highly personable and confident, with an outstanding ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Motivated by bringing the best out in others, achieving results through coaching and mentoring your team
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a proven ability to problem-solve in a dynamic environment
